I Can’t Breathe – A Faith Community’s Response to Anti-Black Culture in America

The recent non-indictments in the deaths of Mike Brown and Eric Garner have pushed thousands across the nation chanting, “Black Lives Matter,” yet many young African Americans often go unnoticed by society.

As believers, God calls us to “have ears that hear and eyes that see” (Proverbs 20:12). What is a faith community’s response to the Anti-Black culture that leaves many people invisible?

This four-week series will equip us with practical strategies and approaches to become agents of hope in our families and communities. Sessions will include role-play, fearless dialogue, and theological reflection.
