Break Every Chain: The Church’s Response to Mass Incarceration

Break Every Chain: Join us for a special four-week Bible study series, “Break Every Chain: The Church’s Response to Mass Incarceration. This four-week series will explore themes of forgiveness, healing, redemption and reconciliation. Healing Communities, a framework of ministry to men and women returning from or at risk of incarceration as well as their families and the larger community, challenges congregations to become stations of hope for persons affected by the criminal justice system. Tuesday evenings, May 30-June 20, 2017, 7:00PM-8:30PM. Guest facilitator: the Rev. Harold Dean Trulear, Associate Professor of Applied Theology, Howard University School of Divinity. Sponsored by Abyssinian’s Exodus Ministry.
