Food Insecurity is a great concern for many New Yorkers. Over 1.5 million seniors call New York City home. 24,400 seniors live below the poverty line, 10% of them do not have enough to eat on a daily basis.

Are there solutions to food security in New York City?

Join us for Senior Hunger: A Community Discussion on Seniors & Food Insecurity in New York Cityan informative community discussion with representatives from City Harvest, Harvest Home, Citymeals-On-Wheels, New York Common Pantry, and Deputy Mayor Caryn Resnick on the solutions and resources to fight against senior hunger in our city Light refreshments will be served.
