Thurgood Marshall Movie Screening

Thurgood MarshallMr. Civil Rights: A premiere screening of “Mr. Civil Rights: Thurgood Marshall & the NAACP,” a documentary by Mick Caoette and South Hill Films, will be held Thursday, April 24, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, at Abyssinian Baptist Church in the Sanctuary. Doors open at 5:45 PM.

The documentary features interviews with biographers Larry Gibson, Juan Williams and Rawn James and legal scholars Kim Crenshaw, Jose Anderson, Roger Wilkins (nephew of Roy Wilkins), U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan and others.
