Care & Advocacy

The mission of the Center for Care & Advocacy Ministry is to provide faith-based, social work services, which include crisis intervention, grief counseling and referral services to the members of the Abyssinian Baptist Church and the Harlem community.

Working in conjunction with social workers within the congregation, Care and Advocacy offers a human services program that provides family-centered and individual care, along with counseling and referral services to assist in alleviating the multitude of challenges impacting the lives of Abyssinian members.
