As we start the New Year – New Season, let us explore the Book of Psalms. The Psalms illuminate the greatness of our God, affirm His love that endures forever, and His faithfulness in which continues throughout all generations. We will identify, analyze and study the rich collection of prayers and expressions that encompass a wide range of human emotions, including praise, thanksgiving, lament and petition while seeking God’s guidance as we embark in this New Year – New Season.

The theme scripture reading is: 1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3 Know the the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep if his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continue through all generations. -Psalm 100:1-5
