Pastoral Candidate Sunday with Rev. Dr. Kevin R. Johnson

We extend a warm invitation to join us on May 19th, Pentecost Sunday, at 10 AM as Rev. Dr. Kevin R. Johnson will deliver a special sermon, followed by a meet and greet session. Dr. Johnson, a Baptist minister with over 33 years of experience, has been a cherished member of Abyssinian and has contributed significantly to our community.
Throughout the past 16 months, the committee has carefully assessed Dr. Johnson’s qualifications and how they align with Abyssinian’s current needs and future aspirations. As a proud “son of Abyssinian,” Dr. Johnson’s dedication and leadership are truly admirable. Many of you may recall his impactful contributions since he first joined Abyssinian in 1997 and during his tenure as Assistant Pastor.
